    World Winter Transplant Games Success

    Our Austrailan Winter World Transplant Games Team carried on the winning spirit from the Gold Coast all the way to the French Alps.
    Lisa Cuthbertson put in a amazing effort, medalling in every event she contested. Stephanie Theobald collected Gold in the Snow Shoeing and enjoyed her foray into team management.
    We congratulate the ladies on their fine preformances and thank them for representing Australia in such fine style.

  • Geraldton Donor Family Fountain

    GERALDTON DONOR AWARENESS FOUNTAIN

    Transplant Australia is proud to support the Geraldton Donor Awareness Fountain Project being co ordinated by donor family Bruce and Karen McDowell.
    The McDowell's tragically lost their daughter Alysha in a motor vehicle accident on the 15th September 2008. When faced with question of donation it was made so much easier as Bruce and Karen had discussed organ and tissue donation with their daughter just two weeks before the accident. The McDowell's are currently working with the local council to create a space the will bring awareness to organ and tissue donation-a celebration of life, and provide a place for reflection for donor families.
