Events

  • 1km Time Trial – 5-14yrs only  
  • 10km Time Trial – 15yrs+  
  • 5km Road Race – 5-14yrs only 
  • 30km Road Race – 15yrs+

Rules

The event will be governed by International Cycling Union rules 

Competition Format

  • Race order will be posted the week prior to the event.  
  • Medals will be presented throughout the day 
  • Note – different age categories may compete against each other to provide a full day of competition, however results will be as per designated gender and age categories as above.

Scoring / Timing

  • Timed events – Fastest official time determines placing. 
  • Competitors will have a maximum of 75 minutes to complete the race (men 70 and over and women will have 90 minutes).

 

What to Bring

  • Participants need to bring their own bikes and helmets.
  • Appropriate cycling clothing and footwear. 
  • ATG State team uniform is encouraged but not mandatory

  • Participants need to bring their own bikes and helmets.

 

Transport

Games Shuttle Drop-off – venue carpark.

Parking

Free car park on-site.

Food and Drinks

  • No food or drink purchase options available on-site or within walking distance. 
  • Water re-fill available  
  • Athletes should bring any food or drinks they require for the full day. 

Spectators

  • Free entry
  • Upstairs track viewing area open
  • Wheelchair accessible  
  • Accessible toilets and showers on-site  

 

First Aid / Physio

  • Games Medical Team on-site  

 

Weather & Contingency

  • OUTDOOR Venue  
  • Competition may be affected by weather conditions but will proceed whilst safe to do so. 
  • Should significant weather require a pause to competition, modifications may be made to the schedule to enable a safe resumption  
  • Extreme weather condition may cause the competition to be abandoned  
  • Emergency evacuation point = carpark
