How to Register

The following tips will help you plan your registration and your Games attendance:

  • Check out the Event Schedule, along with the eligibility information on this page.
  •  Our new registration system will allow you to register as an individual and families can register on one registration.
  • Please note Transplant Australia is absorbing the processing fees for your registration.
  • There are four Registration Categories:
    • Transplant Competitors by age group
    • Supporter Competitors by age group
    • Transplant Non-Competitors
    • Supporter Non-Competitors
  • For Competitors, it will be really helpful to know your sport selection before registering.  You can view the sports here:
  • When you are ready to register, click the Register Now button above.
  • Upon registration, you will receive a log in which will allow you to edit completed registrations up until 26 August 2024.  However please note that data in incomplete registrations will not be saved.
  • Athletes will need to upload a medical certificate by 9 September 2024. Please refer to Medical Information. 
  • Please note that Transplant Australia IS NOT reserving any accommodation options and that accommodation is not included in games registration. Registrants are not required to stay with their respective state teams, however in some instances, team managers may assist with state preferred accommodation options for those who would like to stay with fellow team members. Please book accommodation early.

Registration closed Monday 26 August 2024. 

Changes and additions to registrations also closed on Monday 26 August 2024. No changes to sports and special events can be made after Monday 26 August 2024. 

Athletes will compete by gender in the following age groups:

  • 18-29
  • 30-39
  • 40-49
  • 50-59
  • 60-69
  • 70+

Doubles events:

  • under 30
  • 30-49
  • 50+

Juniors will compete in events designated as junior events by gender in the following age groups:

  • 5 years and under
  • 6-8
  • 9-11
  • 12-14
  • 15-17

Juniors 15 or 17 years of age may be considered to compete in an adult age event where the event is not offered in their age category. Please email sports@transplant.org.au for consideration. 

Age on the first day of the Games will apply.

Optional Add-Ons

Additional items can be selected and paid for as part of your registration booking. These include selected special events –  the Gift of Life Garden Tour and the Games Awards Ceremony & Closing Luncheon  – as well as the option to select the bus transfer service. 

All participants are expected to adhere to Transplant Australia’s Sports Integrity policy, Code of Conduct and Social Media Policy

Transplant Australia is pleased to provide these Games on a user pays basis keeping expenses down for all participants. We understand circumstances prevent people from attending. Please observe the following cancellation policy. 

  1. Cancellations made on or before 3 September 2024 (4 weeks prior) will receive a 100% refund (less bank and booking charges).
  2. Cancellations made between 3 September 2024 and up to and including 24 September 2024 (1 week prior) will receive a 50% refund.
  3. Cancellations made on or after 24 September 2024 (1 week prior) will not receive any refund.

For Transplant Competitors, special circumstances for not obtaining a medical certificate will be considered.
