The event will be governed by International Federation Pétanque rules (Official_Rules_Petanque-En (petanque-england.uk) except as modified herein.
Format: Competition in men’s and women’s singles, and men’s and women’s doubles. As per the official rules, during competition, competitors may not move boules that are not going to count in scoring.
Competitors should provide own boules. All boules must be regulation weight and size.
A very limited number of boules will be available for loan.

For Games Registrants who have purchased the Games Transport service, transfers from selected pick up points will be provided to the venue at the start and end of the competition.
Limited parking available on site.
