Adult Transplant Competitor

Team Sports are designed for Warriors (recipients), however, to maximise participation opportunities, teams may be supplemented with Champions competitors where required. 

Teams may include a mix of genders, with at least one player of any gender on the field/court at any one time. 

  • Minimum age 15yrs  

Junior Transplant Competitor

Team Sports are designed for Warriors (recipients), however, to maximise participation opportunities, teams may be supplemented with Champions competitors where required.

Supporter Competitor

EOI only to supplements teams due to low numbers.
15yrs + age divisions

Age Groups

Minimum age 15 years.

Rules

Tournament will be governed by Federation Internationale de Volleyball rules), except as modified herein.  

The two technical timeouts at 8 and 16 points shall be 2 minutes.  

The net height will be 2.35m 

 

Maximum team size – 10 players  

  • Warriors take priority in team formation – Champion competitors cannot replace or exclude Warriors from a team. 
  • A maximum of one Champion may be on the field/court at any one time. 
  • A maximum of two Champions may make up a team. 
  • Up to nine substitutions are allowed per game. 
  • Teams may choose to use a libero to replace a player in the back row. The libero is required to wear a different colour shirt.

Scoring / Timing

  • Win / Loss Point Score with For/Against Differential  

What to Bring

  • All equipment provide
  • ATG State team uniform is encouraged but not mandatory  

Equipment Hire

All equipment provided.

Transport

Games Shuttle Drop-off – within Hub carpark.

Parking

Timed car park on-site.

Food and Drinks

  • On-site café, inc. hot food and coffee available  
  • Water re-fill available  
  • Athletes should bring any additional food or drinks they specifically require. 

Spectators

  • Free entry
  • Wheelchair accessible  
  • Accessible toilets and showers on-site  

 

First Aid / Physio

  • SafeTAS will be onsite for medical and first aid support  
  • UTAS will be supplying physio support onsite  
  • AED on-site  

 

Weather & Contingency

  • INDOOR Venue  
  • Competition will proceed regardless of weather. 
  • Emergency evacuation point = carpark
