Rules

These rules are provided for information only and the official rules will be released soon.

Tournament will be governed by International Tennis Federation rules except as modified herein.

 

Competition Format

  • Round-robin 
  • Note – different categories may play against each other to provide a full day of competition, however results will be as per designated gender and age categories as above.   

 

Scoring / Timing

  • Matches to be “best of 3” ITF format, 4 game sets.  
  • A 7 point tie breaker at 3:3 and a super-tiebreaker to 10-points at one set all as a deciding 3rd set (i.e., 4:2 3:4, 10:4).  
  • Win / Loss Point Score with For/Against Differential 

What to Bring

  • Participants need to bring their own rackets 
  • There are a limited number of rackets available for hire from the club upon arrival – first in, best dressed. 
  • Balls supplied  
  • Appropriate tennis clothing and footwear. 
  • ATG State team uniform encouraged but not mandatory

  • Participants need to bring their own rackets 
  • There are a limited number of rackets available for hire from the club upon arrival – first in, best dressed. 

Transport

Games shuttle drop-off – inside venue carpark.

Parking

Paid car park on-site

Food and Drinks

  • Clubhouse café will be open with for meal, snack and drink purchases (inc. hot and cold food)   
  • Water re-fill available  
  • Athletes should bring any additional food or drinks they specifically require. 

Spectators

  • Free entry  
  • Limited spectator seating at venue 
  • Wheelchair accessible  
  • Toilets located within clubhouse   

 

First Aid / Physio

  • SafeTAS will be onsite for medical and first aid support  
  • UTAS will be supplying physio support onsite

 

Weather & Contingency

  • OUTDOOR Venue  
  • Competition may be affected by weather conditions but will proceed whilst safe to do so. 
  • Should significant weather require a pause to competition, modifications may be made to the schedule to enable a safe resumption  
  • Extreme weather condition may cause the competition to be abandoned  
  • Emergency evacuation point = carpark
