After a break of six years due to the COVID Pandemic, Australia’s most inspirational sporting event is back on our nation’s calendar.
Canberra is a superb venue for the games boasting internationally-acclaimed sporting venues as well as our iconic Parliament House and key venues around the Parliamentary precinct.
These Games will follow on from the highly successful World Transplant games in Perth last year.
Transplant Australia Manager, Sport and Physical Activity, Emmy O’Neill, said Canberra was well-suited geographically to bring the nation back together again in the spirit of friendship and celebration of the Games.
“It was brilliant to spend a few days in Canberra last week to review the venues and lock in the sports and special events.”
Transplant Australia has been reviewing the way the Games information is provided as well as overhauling the registration system for the Games. The new website launches next month.
