Rules

The event will be governed by World Darts Federation Rules except as modified herein. 

In the single events, the first-round matches will consist of 21 darts thrown in groups of 3 each, with the highest total score the winner.  

If score is tied, one dart tie breaker, the dart closest to the bull is the winner.  

After the first round, the usual rules will apply except as noted below.  

  • In singles, opening score from 301.  
  • For doubles, opening score is increased to 501. 

 

Competition Format

  • Round-robin 
  • Note – different age categories may play against each other to provide a full day of competition, however results will be as per designated gender and age categories as above.    

 

Scoring / Timing

  • Win / Loss Point Score with For/Against Differential  

What to Bring

  • Participants need to bring their own darts  
  • There are a limited number of darts available for loan from the Competition Manager upon arrival.
  • ATG State team uniform is encouraged but not mandatory  

Equipment Hire

  • Participants need to bring their own darts  
  • There are a limited number of darts available for loan from the Competition Manager upon arrival.

Games Shuttle Drop-off – at the bus stop down the street from entry (short walk required  

Parking

Street parking around venue.

Food and Drinks

  • On-site bar will be open and kitchen available with limited menu  
  • Water re-fill available  
  • Athletes should bring any additional food or drinks they specifically require. 

Spectators

  • Free entry
  • Limited seating
  • Wheelchair accessible  
  • Accessible toilets and showers on-site  

 

First Air / Physio

  • A First-Aid Kit will be on-site and able to be administered by Competition Manager.  
  • AED on-site  

 

Weather & Contingency

  • INDOOR Venue  
  • Competition will proceed regardless of weather. 
  • Emergency evacuation point = carpark
