Rules

The event will be governed by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews (R&A) Rules. 

 

Competition Format

  • Groups of 4  
  • Double Tee start  
  • Max 5hr playing time 
  • Note – different age categories may play against each other to provide a full day of competition, however results will be as per designated gender and age categories as above.

 

Scoring / Timing

Two competition divisions will be held concurrently 

  • Handicap division – Stableford for players with a registered handicap. Points are awarded based on your score relative to par on each hole, and the player with the most points win. 
  • Non-Handicap – Stroke play with medals won by the lowest total score on the day per categories.

What to Bring

  • Participants need to bring their own clubs and bag  
  • There are a limited number of clubs available for hire from the club upon arrival.  
  • Golf carts have been reserviced for those who selected hire within the registration process
  • Appropriate golf clothing and footwear. 
  • ATG State team uniform is encouraged but not mandatory  

Equipment Hire

  • Participants need to bring their own clubs and bag  
  • There are a limited number of clubs available for hire from the club upon arrival.  
  • Golf carts have been reserviced for those who selected hire within the registration process

Transport

Games Shuttle Drop-off – within carpark

Parking

Free car park on-site.

Food and Drinks

  • Clubhouse bar will be open for patronage  
  • Clubhouse kitchen will have a limited lunch menu available for purchase 
  • Water re-fill available  
  • Athletes should bring any additional food or drinks they specifically require. 

Spectators

  • Free entry
  • Seating within clubhouse
  • Wheelchair accessible  
  • Accessible toilets on-site  

 

First Aid / Physio

  • A First-Aid Kit will be on-site and able to be administered by Competition Manager.  
  • AED on-site

 

Weather & Contingency

  • OUTDOOR Venue  
  • Competition may be affected by weather conditions but will proceed whilst safe to do so. 
  • Should significant weather require a pause to competition, modifications may be made to the schedule to enable a safe resumption  
  • Extreme weather condition may cause the competition to be abandoned  
  • Emergency evacuation point = carpark
