Rules

The event will be governed by International Federation Pétanque rules (Official_Rules_Petanque-En (petanque-england.uk) .

 

Competition Format

  • Round-robin format  
  • Singles – AM  
  • Doubles – PM  
  • Note – different categories may play against each other to provide a full day of competition, however results will be as per designated gender and age categories as above.  

 

Scoring / Timing

  • Win / Loss Point Score with For/Against Differential  

What to Bring

  • All equipment supplied 
  • Participants welcome to BYO boules if they wish
  • Appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear. 
  • ATG State team uniform is encouraged but not mandatory

All equipment supplied.

Transport

Games Shuttle Drop-off – Carpark entrance.

Parking

Free carpark on-site.

 

Food and Drinks

  • No food or drink purchase options available on-site or within walking distance. 
  • Water re-fill available  
  • Athletes should bring any food or drinks they require for the full day. 

Spectators

  • Free entry – BYO seating
  • Wheelchair access is limited to competition area 
  • Accessible toilets on-site within clubhouse  

 

First Aid / Physio

  • A First-Aid Kit will be on-site and able to be administered by Competition Manager.  

 

Weather & Contingency

  • OUTDOOR Venue  
  • Competition may be affected by weather conditions but will proceed whilst safe to do so. 
  • Should significant weather require a pause to competition, modifications may be made to the schedule to enable a safe resumption  
  • Extreme weather condition may cause the competition to be abandoned  
  • Emergency evacuation point = carpark
