*Please note that draws are final and complete as of 28 September 2026. However, draws and scheduled times may be subject to change. Everyone is encouraged to arrive at the start of the event to support fellow competitors and allow for any changes to draw times.

Adult Transplant Competitor

Rules

Scrabble Rules – https://scrabble.org.au/rules/21rules.htm  

  • High score wins.  
  • Incorrect (and challenged) words result in loss of turn.  
  • Round Robin or knockout (depending on entry numbers) with maximum 30 minutes per game. 

 

Round-robin 

  • Note – different categories may play against each other to provide a full day of competition, however results will be as per designated gender and age categories as above.   

 

Scoring / Timing

  • Win / Loss Point Score with For/Against Differential  

What to Bring

  • All equipment supplied
  • Smart casual clothing appropriate for an indoor competition.
  • ATG State team uniform is encouraged but not mandatory

All equipment supplied.

Transport

Games Shuttle Drop-off – Cameron St Bus Stop.

Parking

Street parking around venue.

Food and Drinks

  • Hotel bar and restaurant open for patronage  
  • Water re-fill available  
  • Athletes should bring any additional food or drinks they specifically require. 

Spectators

  • Free entry
  • Wheelchair accessible  
  • Accessible toilets on-site 

 

First Aid / Physio

  • A First-Aid Kit will be on-site and able to be administered by Competition Manager.  

 

Weather & Contingency

  • INDOOR Venue  
  • Competition will proceed regardless of weather. 
  • Emergency evacuation point = carpark
