*Juniors 16 or 17 years of age are permitted to compete in adult age events at the discretion of the sports manager.

Rules

The event will be governed by Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA) rules. 

 

Competition Format

  • Race order will be posted the week prior to the event.  
  • Medals will be presented throughout the day 
  • Note – different categories may play against each other to provide a full day of competition, however results will be as per designated gender and age categories as above.

What to Bring

  • Swimmers should bring swimwear, goggles and towel 
  • Appropriate clothing and non-slip footwear recommended  
  • ATG State team uniform is encouraged but not mandatory

Transport

Games Shuttle Drop-off – Venue Main entry  

PLEASE NOTE – ATG entry is around the back entrance of the venue straight into he 50m pool area (not the front main entrance) 

Parking

Paid carpark on-site.

Food and Drinks

  • Café on-site available for food, drink and snack purchases  
  • Water re-fill available  
  • Athletes should bring any food or drinks they require for the full day

Spectators

  • Free entry (via ATG entrance)    
  • Wheelchair accessible  
  • Accessible toilets on-site within clubhouse   

 

First Aid / Physio

  • Venue Lifeguards will be on duty across the venue

 

Weather & Contingency

  • INDOOR Venue  
  • Competition will proceed regardless of weather. 
  • Emergency evacuation point = carpark
