Rules

Tournament will be governed by International Bowling Federation rules, the latest English language version https://bowling.sport/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/WorldBowling-Playing-Rules-and-Regulations-as-of-Sept-2019.pdf, except as modified herein.  

Ties are resolved by a frame by frame roll-off until there is a winner.

 

Competition Format

  • There will be a three games series in the singles competition and a three games series in the pairs competition.  
  • Note – different age categories may play against each other to provide a full day of competition, however results will be as per designated gender and age categories as above. 

 

Scoring / Timing

  • The highest combined score in each competition is the winner.  

What to Bring

  • All equipment provided   
  • Participants are welcome to bring their own bowl and shoes if they wish 
  • Non-slip shoes are provided  
  • ATG State team uniform is encouraged but not mandatory   

Equipment Hire

  • All equipment provided   
  • Participants are welcome to bring their own bowl and shoes if they wish  

Transport

Games Shuttle Drop-off – within Hub carpark

Parking

Times car park on-site.

Food and Drinks

  • On-site café, inc. hot food and coffee available  
  • Water re-fill available  
  • Athletes should bring any additional food or drinks they specifically require. 

Spectators

  • Free entry
  • Wheelchair accessible  
  • Accessible toilets on-site  

 

First Aid / Physio

  • A First-Aid Kit will be on-site and able to be administered by Competition Manager.  
  • AED on-site  

 

Weather & Contingency

  • INDOOR Venue  
  • Competition will proceed regardless of weather. 
  • Emergency evacuation point = carpark
