One of the most special parts of the Australian Transplant Games is the opportunity to connect with others who have had similar experiences and be a part of a shared community in a safe and supported space. Attending the Games can also be an emotionally healing experience for recipients, donors and their carers and we are pleased to welcome participants to number of structured peer support sessions for specific groups.
An opportunity for Young Adults (aged 15 to 29 years) to meet, connect and get to know one another ahead of the big week in a relaxed, social and supported environment.
An opportunity for parents of paediatric transplant recipients/those waiting to meet, connect and share experiences in a relaxed, social and supported environment. Adults only.
A fun night in of games and activities for all our junior participants. Pizza and soft drink provided. Please note children must remain supervised by a parent or guardian 18 years or above at all times.
