Acclaimed WA singer-songwriter, Rose Parker, will perform her song ‘Because of You’ at the Opening Celebrations of the Australian Transplant Games in Canberra. Written for the 2023 World Transplant Games in Perth, ‘Because of You’ was written especially for Rose’s brother Tim who passed away in 2022 and became an organ donor.
We acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we gather for the 2024 Australian Transplant Games. We recognise their connections to land, sea, and community and pay our respect to their elders past and present.
