Celebrate the games in style with an exciting program of special events for all registered participants.
In addition to the sporting competition and peer support elements of the Games, there are also a number of special events that registered participants can be involved in.
Please note, some of these events are included in registration costs, while other require an additional ticket purchase to ensure quality experience and manage capacity limits.
Please ensure you complete your online registration to be involved in any of the events below.
State Team Managers will contact participants in the respective States with an invitation to attend a team dinner before the start of the event to connect, meet fellow teammates and get excited for the start of activity the following day.

Parade of all participants, in team uniform, through City Park, Launceston culminating in the Official Opening Ceremony inside Albert Hall, Launceston.
Walk through Cataract Gorge and discover stories and insights into the rich Tasmanian Aboriginal culture of the area and how different cultures reflect and give thanks.
Please be aware this is an outdoor environment and may be impacted by weather. The walk includes some steep and uneven ground.

Formal AGM meeting for current Transplant Australia members. Please RSVP through the registration system and seating is limited.
A fun day out for families to explore their choice of activities within Penny Royal Adventure Park. Upon the completion of your Games registration, a discount code will be sent to you with a link to purchase your Penny Royal Tickets directly and choose the experience you would like to have.
This excursion will be included in the ATG shuttle service routes on this day only.

A BBQ Breakfast to say thank you to all the volunteers who have assisted making the 2026 Australian transplant Games something to remember!
While also, watching a great football match and celebrating the results of the Australian Transplant Football team at the recent World Cup.
